AFAIK Word 2011 ships with the Option + End and Command + End keys assigned the EndOfDocument command and the Option + Down Arrow and Command + Down Arrow assigned to the ParaDown command. Since there isn't an End key on these condensed keyboards I reassigned the Option + Down Arrow to the EndOfDocument command. ![]() For some reason I'm not able to create keyboard shortcuts in Word 2011 that use the Command, Shift and a number, for example Command-Shift-9. Nothing happens when I enter that into the 'new keyboard shortcut' field. I also can't do Option-number like Option-9 or Shift-Option-9. So I can't do these: Command+Shift+9 Shift+Option+9 but I can do these: Control+9 Control+Shift-9 Control+Option+Shift-9 Command+Option+Control+9 Command+Option+Shift+9 Command+9 Command+Control+9 Interestingly, I know Command-Shift-9 can work because a template I brought over from Window converted what was Control-Shift-9 to Command-Shift-9 and it works fine. I just can't create that key combination myself. Am I missing something? Thanks, d -------------Problems Reply------------ The 'answer' to your question is more involved than you might think:-) Among other things, the Language & style of keyboard factor into it. And as I mentioned, was working fine in Word when brought over from Windows. I certainly don't claim to be an authority:-) but how I read the cards is that availability of key assignments seems to be categorized/prioritized something like this: • The OS has first dibs. That means not only what it uses but also what it holds in reserve. Stardew Valley now available for Mac & Linux! U can just go to%appdata% enter in stardew valley file, enter in saves and there will be your saves ?. Would it be at all possible for you to release this with OpenGL ES 2 support? If you do, it will run on ARM Linux computers like the Raspberry Pi and the DragonBox Pyra. All single-player content from the 1.3 patch is available, but Stardew Valley for iOS does not support multiple players. If you've previously played Stardew Valley on PC or Mac (it first came out. [The latter may be the case with Shift+Command+9 -- I tried to use it in Photoshop but it wasn't accepted there, either.] The OS developer, of course, can hard-wire them or make them user-definable. • Software developers get 2nd choice, which they can do with as they please within their own apps - i.e., assign them and/or make them user-definable. On the brighter side, I did find that your preferred strokes can be assigned using the OS X shortcut key facility. Both Shift+Command+9 & Option+9 were accepted to execute menu commands in Word.
